You might remember that the ceiling of the media room was a problem. The window that Ted had installed prevented the ceiling from continuing straight through and finishing the attic floor.
We decided to remedy this situation by removing the ceiling in this whole section and revealing the tongue and groove sloped walls to the ceiling.
Chris worked to get the point of the ceiling framed and finished in a respectable way so that we could remove the floor and expose the vaulted ceiling. We also installed the fan while the floor was still in so that we had easier access to all the electrical.

If someone is having an older home that means he may have either acoustic or popcorn ceiling. I think one of the easiest way to improve the interior aesthetic is just by getting this outdated ceiling texture removed. Well, in that case, two possibilities arise. One is either he may do it on his own or he may hire a profession just to tackle the task. In the first preference, he will definitely save some dollars initially, but what about long term costs he will face if his ceiling is damaged. So, my suggestion is to hire a professional who can do the same task in a more efficient way just because they know how to perform quick and efficient removal and also can make correct repairs to the damaged areas. That means it is far better to compromise on money but not in quality. Thank you.
